Mejoramos la enseñanza y el aprendizaje del inglés como lengua extranjera, poniendo la tecnología en manos de nuestros estudiantes. Actualmente ofrecemos un programa de lectura en línea para iPad, con los programas del software Sound Reading Solutions en los grados de 1° a 4°. Los estudiantes trabajan a su propio nivel y a su propio ritmo en más de 30 actividades para fortalecer y mejorar sus habilidades fundamentales de lectura.

Soluciones para una mejor lectura.
Sus siglas en inglés: (SRS) Sound Reading Solutions.
El conjunto de programas que forman parte de este software, tienen como principal objetivo el entrenar al cerebro para reconocer y discriminar los sonidos del idioma inglés. Los aprendices de este idioma deben construir sus habilidades auditivas para identificar y discriminar los sonidos propios del idioma. Una vez que la barrera se ha superado, los alumnos pueden comenzar a entender y leer el sistema alfabético tan complejo de esta lengua extranjera. Los niveles dentro de estos programas enseñan habilidades esenciales de lenguaje que un lector principiante necesita para aprender a deletrear y a leer. Los estudiantes practican para entender el sistema de escritura inglesa a través de un exhaustivo entrenamiento auditivo en una computadora diseñado para incrementar el desarrollo del lenguaje oral y habilidades de comprensión auditiva en inglés.
Sound Reading Solutions Software Programs:
Sound Reading trains the brain to recognize and discriminate the sounds of the English language. English language learners must build their auditory skills in order to identify and discriminate foreign English sounds. Once this barrier is overcome, they can begin reading English and understand the confusing English spelling system. Sound Reading English Learning Paths teaches essential English language skills that the beginning reader needs to learn to read and spell. English Language Learners practice understanding the English writing system through extensive auditory training on a computer designed to increase oral language development and listening comprehension skills in English.

Miss Joy is originally from Boston, Massachusetts and has taught around the globe including Singapore, England, Venezuela and Mexico. She currently serves as our English Reading Coach and EAL Reading Support Specialist in Primary. Over the years, she has launched the execution and delivery of innovative literacy instruction for our students including Sound Reading Solutions Software programs at Yits'atil.
Miss Joy holds a Massachusetts Educator License in Early Childhood and Elementary. She completed her post graduate studies in Education Therapy in Reading Disabilities from Massachusetts General Hospital and is also a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist certified by the International Dyslexia Association and the Center for Effective Reading Instruction ( CERI).
